Interior home inspections

Interior home inspections are very detailed evaluations of all home internal systems. All my inspections address such things as structure, heating and air conditioning setup, wiring and plumbing to ensure safety of living. My home inspections in the Western Greater Toronto area also include evaluations of insulation and ventilation. I provide home buyers and sellers with tips on how interior finishes and add-ons such as fireplaces can increase market value of a certain property. My reports therefore allow to prioritize improvements for a better living and value retention. Starting from the basement and making my way through the house to the attic I identify all the strengths and weaknesses to help you make educated decisions. You are more than welcome to take part in any of my home inspections to learn first-hand everything you need to know about the real estate of your choice.
Exterior home inspections

Exterior home inspections are just as important as the interior ones. One of the most important parts in this type of inspection is evaluation of roof. I asses the current condition of roofing materials to estimate how long before they need to be replaced. For a buyer it is a great money saving advice and for a seller a possible upgrade in this case may be a great return on investment. It is a well-known fact that homes with new, properly installed roofs sell for a much higher price. In my exterior home inspections I also asses current state of brickwork and sidings. Inspection of windows is also important as far as protection of interiors and energy efficiency are concerned. I also tend to focus on proper grading which is crucial in removal of water from the building foundations. This prevents possible flooding and keeps your basement dry.
